Valentine's Day

Preschool Valentine's Party! We had such a fun day. It was awesome to spend the day with Sheri and Miley, who were visiting from California. We made them tag along to the preschool party. Miley wouldn't stay in the picture.
They made fun wings and wands, played Bingo, read cute stories, and had yummy snacks.
We made these fun valentine box monsters and for 14 days I tried to do something fun for Valentine's Day.
Unfortunately, the day turned a little sour when naps weren't that long and we tried to go to this fun jumping place before taking Sheri to the airport and it was closed. Luckily McDonald's ice cream saved the day, since Cam starting the crying and we couldn't find a play place at any of the three McDonald's. To make matters worse we drop them off and realize that I left Miley's backpack, with all the things we packed up for the plane, on our kitchen table. Sheri said the flight wasn't that bad, but I felt terrible. Luckily, backpack has been mailed and delivered. (I'm so glad Miley has Polar Bear now, and I still feel terrible about the whole thing). Hope they still want to visit us soon. We miss them!
If you are still reading, here are some of the things we did (we are all about cheap and easy, but fun!) I have these envelopes on their door and most days after their nap they checked it to see what I left. 1) sugar cookie mix 2) valentine pez dispensers 3) conversation hearts 4) valentine cakes 5) valentine stories 6) movie 7) ring pops 8) box of valentines to make for friends and family 9) jello to make jigglers 10) potato painting (heart stamps out of potatoes) 11) coloring pages 12) beads to make bracelets 13) candy 14)scavenger hunt to a treat!

Tyson and I had a nice evening too. My in-laws are great and volunteered to watch the kids, so we went and did sealings at the temple. Happy Valentine's Day!!
