Over President's Day Weekend our friends Staci and Cameron Cummings invited us to their cabin. We all had such a good time. The kids loved the snow and playing in the cabin. Plus it was a slumber party in the upstairs with all the kids. (Kennedy started there, but as anticipated joined us when we were going to bed)
Here's the cabin!
Makayla buried in the snow. It was pretty deep, so the kids were loving trying to walk in it.
Kennedy likes it for a little while and then gets cold, but she actually lasted longer at times that I thought she would.
Cameron was true to form and just can't get enough of the snow. The kid just loves it.
Cameron and Tyson riding on the snow mobile. Both of our kids enjoyed the ride, they yelled whee the whole time. Tyson and I even got to take it for a spin. Tyson hit a little over 70 and I thought my face was going to fall off, but it was a lot of fun!
We also did a little bit of tubing in the front yard.
Cameron and Staci went on a little ride too!
Don't forget about Kennedy the thrill seeker. She thought she could drive it on her own.
The mom's took all the kids on a ride too (it started off slow, totally crashed) but ended up getting unstuck and having a great time!
Cameron and Tyson did some sledding in the area were we parked our car waiting for the Cummings to come on the second snow mobile ride in. Kennedy and I joined them for a minute, but them hung out in the car.
Pretty soon he ditched the sled and just went down on his own. He is a little fearless when it comes to the snow. Chicken (or should I say cautious) about most things, but not the snow.
