New Home

We never did a post about our big move. We moved right before Tyson graduated. It was sad to leave the village. We made some dear friends. But, we were excited to move on. We got a great deal renting a home from a couple who is serving a mission in Hawaii.

We love all the space. The kids love the room downstairs for all their toys. The yard work has been time consuming for Tyson, but he has a love hate relationship with it. I think he really enjoys it. We have so many fruit trees and our garden is awesome (sweet that they have a sprinkler system all set up). We have raspberries, peaches, apples, pears, tomatoes, peppers, grapes, and even two pumpkins growing. It has been fun to have the kids help and get all excited about it.

The crazy part for those who haven't heard is that the gentleman (Robert Harris) that we were renting from passed away while serving his mission, in June. So for awhile things were up in the air about where we were going to be. But, for now we feel fortunate to be staying here for a time, while his wife went back to finish her mission in Hawaii. Talk about dedicated. We are just feeling fortunate to be here and loving it!
