So what do you do when your husband is working crazy hours and you got a new van? Go to California of course. It was pretty last minute, but a ton of fun. We loaded the van up with my mom, Staci, Tyler, Ivy, and the kids. Thank goodness Tyler came because he did most of the driving. Tyson said quite awhile before that I probably shouldn't travel after 36 weeks. So, since I was 35 weeks we decided to go. We basically went for a long weekend over the 24th (pioneer day) holiday.
It was so fun spending time with Ben, Sheri, and Miley. My dad and Tyson really missed out. San Clemente has the best parks. We loved this new park by Sheri. So much that we went twice while we were there, plus the kids went with grandma to another park.
Even though it was fast we packed in the fun and saw quite a few people. We started by spending the night in St. George. It was fun to visit with the Rollins for a bit and see the amazing progress of the Stanton's new home.
Of course we headed to the beach and met up with the Hull's, Aunt Donette, and Kelly and her boys.
Right when we got there the water washed all our stuff. All the kids were crying and Miley was so worried about it she cuddled with her mom for awhile.
It took Cameron and Owen a little bit to warm up to each other, but then they spent the rest of the day playing with their shovels and running from the water.
A family shot of Tyler, Staci, and Ivy.
Kennedy is so happy in the sand.
The Ward family.
My mom and I. Couldn't of done the trip with out her.
Poor Spencer had to spend most of his time with his crazy daughter Audrey. She just loves the water, fearless. (And I didn't even get a picture of Holly and the new little Preston, but he was a cutie for sure)
Got a picture of Donette rock climbing her way down toward the beach.
One night we went and had a bonfire at the beach. Cute cousins!
Plus Staci!
The Weddle's were awesome and drove up to hang out with us. We had such a fun time. The Brady's also came, but we didn't get any pictures with them (sorry)
We walked down to the beach and caught crabs and collected shells. The kids were stocked about it!
What a great time! Thanks to everyone for making it awesome!
